Danik (real name Robert D.) joined the MUSH in March of 2001, joining the Imperial Navy as a starfighter pilot with the character name Danik Kreldin. He rose through the ranks quickly, and in 2002 became a MUSH legend along with his IC rival, Axel.

He created SW1ki in December of 2005 after getting the idea from Xerxes. He was Assistant Faction Head of the Empire until he retired in July of 2006. He would later be banned from the MUSH for breaking into an unpassworded Wizard (Doug), but was later unbanned. He continues to work on the Wiki.

He lives in New York City, attends the College of Staten Island, is self-employed, and plans on someday marrying Toni Marie Luca. Rob likes to create stories, roleplay, and is an ardent supporter of Ron Paul.

[edit] Regarding Danik Kreldin

The original concept for Danik was a young fighter pilot fresh from the Academy who became best friends Fianar Reanus. Eventually, Rob figured it was absurd to have a 20-year old Admiral in the Imperial Navy, and thus reworked Danik's history and background into the old and bitter war horse that everyone knew him as.

In 2005, Danik became an Original Feature Character and the Imperial Assistant Faction Head, though stepped down as an Original Feature Character in December of 2005. On July 20th, 2006, his character was "killed" in action over Coruscant. He stepped down as Imperial AFH and semi-retired from the MUSH, only to return months later in a failed campaign to remove Vadim from power in the Empire in order. His original intentions were to try and become Emperor himself, but less than a month into the campaign he mused the prospect of having Valak return as a NPC in the same fashion as Vadim.

Danik is Rob's favorite character and has a hard time adjusting to any other character. He tried several other Star Wars-related MUSHes using the Danik character, but none managed to capture his imagination like the original.
