This blaster resembles the Sorosuub DY-255, however, with various differences. It lacks the actual interface on the back to insert the energy pack. It also lacks the mount that allows a scope to be added. In the place of these items, the training blaster contains a small digital control keypad that allows the user to set the frequency of the photonic emmissions that resemble the release of a blaster bolt. This weapon is used for various individuals to train in the use of a blaster without the risk of injury to themselves, to others and to property.
