StarShield Armaments was a manufacturer and supplier of offensive and defensive weaponry, energy-assisted armor, and shielding systems for a variety of applications, primarily for personnel and vehicular scale.
Originally based on Rauther, StarShield was founded by those who picked apart and worked upon the Republic arsenal left behind when the planet was relegated from being an Ordnance-Depot world.
