The Faylar System is a far-flunged system deep within Imperial territory in the Outer Rim. Faylar's only claim to fame was during the Post-Endor Imperial power struggle, when its only inhabitable planet - Dreven - became the capital of the remnants of the Galactic Empire under the Interim Ruling Council.
Faylar is difficult to navigate and has thus far remained distant from the Galactic Civil War. It is believed the Third Death Star was constructed within the Faylar System, as it provided a natural cloak for the superweapon.
