Etti IV is the seat of the Corporate Sector Authority, housing its government and hosting the estates of many of its richest executives. Located at the juncture of several trade routes and with climate hospitable to humans and many other sentient species, it is a logical location for the center of commerce in the Sector and a playground for the wealthy.

Approximately 20,000 BBY, the near-human Etti race settled the planet after fleeing persecution in the Core. When the Corporate Sector Authority was established in 490 BBY the pleasant climate and fortunate location made it a natural choice for the wealthy of the CSA to settle.

As the seat of government for the Corporate Sector, Etti IV's government is the Sector's government, with resident corporations overseeing their on-planet holdings and the Authority covering the rest. The governmental structure is therefore the same as that of the Corporate Sector Authority, with the Direx Board acting as the planetary governmental entity and the various CSA divisions providing services.

Etti IV is a planet of smooth, rolling terrain. Approximately 75% land, the seas dot the landscape and provide moisture for the amber mosses, lichen, and other low-growing flora which helps make it a pleasant, hospitable place to visit. Vermilion skies are home to wispy clouds driven by dry winds, while the single sun and twin moons augment the scenery.

As no planet in the Corporate Sector has native sentient species, the transplanted Etti share Etti IV with humans and representatives of most of the common sentient species of the galaxy. Since about 5 ABY, with the development of the settlement of New Kala'uun, a thriving Twi'lek population has become a major part of the planetary economy.
As a result of the great wealth of Etti IV, a very real criminal element is present, targeting the businesses, tourists and residents. This manifests in both petty criminals preying on the individual victim and organized crime which has in certain cases entire organizations embedded in the culture and facilities masquerading as legitimate business.

As the seat of the CSA, Etti IV is one of the wealthiest worlds in the sector, if not the galaxy. Without natural resources, the planet is exploited for its beauty and temperate climate, having been turned into a tourist paradise as well as home for those of means. Affluent Corporate Sector Authority executives keep luxurious estates on the planet.
The tourist trade is important to Etti IV and many facilities are in place to coax the wealthiest members of galactic society to visit and purchase. Exotic eateries, exciting night spots, and eclectic retail shops are the norm in Capital City. However only Authority Cash Vouchers and Crystalline Vertex are accepted currencies in the CSA. The Authority Currency Exchanges are in every public starport and will cheerfully convert your credits, gems, precious metals, crystalline vertex, or other valuables for visitors.
